The Stimulus and Flight 3407

What do flight 3407 have in common with the stimulus bill?  The intent to want to repeal natural law.  We would all like to see the law of gravity repealed when we see a tragedy such as flight 3407. It would be wonderful  to temporarily repeal the law of gravity and save those precious lives, but there are consequences. Without gravity air, water and everything not bolted down would fly of the earth. We would all die. The stimulus package and the Obama socialist plans for the economy wish to repeal the law of supply and demand. For 1700 years there have been politicians who have tried and left economies destroyed in their wake. Yes airplanes fly, but not by repeal of the law of gravity but by using other natural laws. When people recognize that only by enslaving the productive portion of the population can you allow people who pay no taxes to determine who will spend tax money, will socialism finally disappear. Ayn Rand and others have written and warned us about for years. This is what the founding fathers warned us about. The Democrat Party has now created a majority of the population that pays nothing towards the Fedral government but has a vote on who will spend the tax money. The two most important freedoms are the freedom of religion and economic freedom. The first because it is the very soul of a person, who they really are. The second because without economic freedom other choices are easily manipulated by the needs of the individual.

The Debate and the economy

I am sure that I am not the only conservative that wants to see McCain come out swinging at the next debate.  What I can't understand is his allowing Obama to talk about increasing the taxes on businesses without explaining exactly what that would mean.  First of all, Obama's right when he says that businesses are not paying taxes. Businesses never pay taxes, people do. If taxes go up on businesses they pass that along in higher prices. Then they become less competitive in the world market and that increases our balance of payment problem because companies who are not paying the higher US tax can compete better. Next it pushes businesses overseas therefore lowering our net tax base.  What we need is a zero tax on businesses and a national sales tax to thereby tax products that are impoted from other countries.
Why can't McCain point out the stupidity in Obama's tax proposal before it's too late.

The economy and Congress

Am I the only one  who remembers Congress telling the banking industry that they needed to loosen up lending practices so that the poor in this country would be able to have a piece of the pie, a piece of the American dream? And they did! That created the need for the rapid growth in the home building industry which required cheap labor, illegal immigration, and eventually the financial crisis we have today.  Congress!
Who has prevented the US oil industry from drilling off shore, where the Chinese are now drilling because Cuba is only 90 miles(not 200).  Congress!
Who has created a vast unfunded debt for our nation so that the future value of the dollar is in question? Congress! ....   OK we citizens are also at fault for living beyond our individual and national means.
Name an efficient government program, before you vote for more.
OK! Maybe John McCain isn't your soul mate. Maybe he wont want exactly what you want for the country, but who would but you(unless you follow without thinking).  Remember that John McCain has fought abuses in government more than any other senator in Washington. And yes, he doesn't always agree with you, but neither does your brother, sister or parents, but he has honestly held to values that have helped make this country great. I do hope he sees that drilling is necessary as is the continued development of alternate energies.
